This is a notice to all parents that the Scouts section returns on 14th September. Beavers and Cubs will have notified you already of their return dates.

Scouting Sessions at Bramhope

This is a reminder to all parents that our next two Scout nights will be held at Bramhope Scout Campsite.  It will be at our usual meeting times on the 29th June and 6th July.

Additional Scouting Sessions

As notified at the end of term, due to the excessive number of Bank Holidays in April and May, we will be running some additional evenings as alternatives to the regular Monday Nights.
Please note the first of these:
Instead of meeting on Monday 21st April 2014 we will instead be meeting on Tuesday 22nd April 2014 – starting out in the outside store room.

The Scout Memorial Project

The Scouting Memorial Project is a national campaign designed to raise awareness of “Remembrance”.
It aims to raise funds to build and maintain a Scouting memorial to remember those who have given service to Scouting and their communities, especially those members of Scouting who have suffered through conflict.

Remembrance Day Parade Service

This year Remembrance day falls on Sunday 10th November, as in previous years our Scout Troop is to take part in the Guiseley Remembrance Day Parade.  Naturally we would like to have an excellent turnout from the Scouts at this important event.
We feel that it is extremely important for young people to be aware of the sacrifices made by our armed forces, and feel that this is an appropriate way to do this.  We know that many Scouts have other commitments on Sunday mornings but feel that, just for once, …

On Saturday 7th September 2013 the 10th and 12th Airedale Scout Groups are having a joint Family Fun day at Bramhope Scout Camp site from 12:00 to 18:00.
